Get well soon!! Life is strange, It compels us to display, Emotions of a wide range, Just like a movie or a play, It shows us colourful rainbows, And the delightful rain, Yet we even experience sorrows, We even experience pain, There are days when, For hours we have to strive, And we hate even being alive, As life drives us insane, Life is strange, It gives us hope, It gives us many a wing, Yet, it betrays us; it cuts the rope, And it challenges our surviving, Sometimes we wake up all refreshed, On other mornings, we  feel  so dead, We wish our joy was incessant, And our pain non-existent, We wish our life was different, We feel we have nothing, But let’s look at the people bruised and burnt, We’ll realize we have everything, Life is an exciting adventure, A strange and mystical maze, So let us live it with passion and craze, And let us make it a blissful venture..............

Those gorgeous eyes!! An apology!! The Mumbai local train!! I am travelling, In the Mumbai local train, I see some smiling, I see some in pain, I see some, Listening to many a song, I see some, Standing at the door, doing acts wrong, I see a few texting, Or talking on the phone or with others, That too in hushed whispers, Those are the ones I see smiling, I see a few, Engrossed in their newspaper, Some look out too, Staring blankly or admiring nature, At times, I have seen vendors, Trying to earn their daily bread, I have also seen filthy beggars, Pestering, as "get lost" to them, people have said, I have seen men cursing, Or women quarreling, I have seen children crying, And even lovers canoodling, A train journey, Is sadly considered boring, But that’s never felt by me, As I feel, it’s truly exciting, I have many memories, As often I feel nostalgic, And I try to recollect those experiences, Although a few even make me sick, No

Life's amazing in dreams!! Life’s amazing in dreams, Or in books and in films, Yet in reality, daily we burn, As we wait for our destiny to take a nice turn, We want our love story, To be eternal, the best in the world, With an ending happy, And we want our joy to be unparalleled, We want to achieve, The best position, We want to receive, Daily accolades and satisfaction, We want to break free, From the redundant system, We want to be free, Towards our goal, in constant motion, We want to dive, In the blue, serene ocean, We want to thrive, In the field of our passion, We want to be the bird, That to faraway places flies, We want to rule the world, And live life king-size, Yet, in reality, daily we burn, As we wait for our destiny to take a nice turn, Yeah, life’s amazing only in dreams, That is how, to me, it all seems…………

Sleepless!! Something’s killing me, I just can’t sleep at night, Something’s haunting me, It just isn’t right, Sometimes if I am lucky, I get an hour’s sleep, But then I get up all sweaty,  I palpitate, I begin to weep, I am sinking deep, Into a black hole, I badly need some sleep, This is torturing my soul, I am getting paranoid, As I feel some non-existent void, The insomnia is ruining me, I want to break free, My life is a mess, And to ease this distress, I pop many a sleeping pill, But this just doesn’t heal, Some said stress is a factor, And so I tried, Many a stress-buster, But still helpless, for hours I cried, I feel like a zombie, Wandering here and there, I try to sleep, but in vain, As I fail miserably, yet again………

Grow up!! Note:: This is not a poem, but a song!!
