How could you??

How could you hurt her,
She’s my best friend,
When you had promised you’d be with her,
Forever, till the end,

How could you bring,
Buckets of tears in her eyes,
And for months she kept waiting,
Every moment, every day, amidst anguish and cries,

How could you not care,
When once you claimed you loved her,
Do you know, you transformed her,
Into a zombie, aimlessly wandering here and there,

How easy it was for you to say,
 It won’t work, It’s all over,
When you had promised to be with her,
In good and bad times, come what may,

You hurt my best friend,
You shattered her dreams,
She blindly did everything you said,
But you never understood her, it seems,

How could you be so filthy,
And so callous and mean,
And if still you think you’re clean,
Then, that’s the joke of the century,

She's my best friend ,                                                                                     And for hurting her,
You should be rotting alone and dead,
You deserve the worst punishment God can offer,

How the hell now you ask her back,
After you stabbed her in the back,
You were the only one she wanted,
Yet  my best friend was so brutally betrayed, 

You have now completely lost her trust,
She can’t forget the pain and the hurt,
She doesn’t want to see you ever,
And remember that,  from her heart, you are gone forever………………
