Indeed, love it was, at first sight, With the serenity, the grandeur, As I entered the hallowed portal, on a July night, With big ambitions, with great hopes, Along the way, fortunate I was, to have many highs, Albeit a few lows, now completely forgotten, And as we reach a stage of Goodbyes, Gripped with nostalgia, here I sit, reminiscing, This is a place that shaped my personality, A place which gave me amazing friends, Bonds, sure I am, which will last till eternity, A place I talk about with affection and pride, How can I forget the midnight birthday celebrations, Or the hours spent chatting in night mess, Or the countless parties on smallest of occasions, It’s indeed been a memorable journey, How can I forget the last minute preparations, And in the last term, not even that, How can I not remember the futile GLOBING in exami...

The seeds of joy!! I look outside the window, I am appalled by what I see, As nature begins to sow, The seeds of fear in me,   I see clouds in the sky, Dark, ominous and mocking, I hate them, I want to cry, Of the imminent woes, they keep reminding, I hate the gloomy weather, Soon it even begins to rain, Some want it to last forever, Not I, it adds to my existing pain, I see people relaxed and sauntering by, Umbrellas over their heads, Yet I wonder why, My misery still pervades, Down the road, I see, Some kids playing in the rain, They seem so happy to me, I wonder, is there a way to let go of this pain,   I look at an innocent boy, Even I was just like him, Why did I kill the seeds of joy, And my future kept getting dim, I now realize, I shouldn’t be wilting like weeds, Life is a gift worth accepting, It’s all about sowing the seeds, Of joy, and their perpetual nurturing………..

Paradise!! Close your eyes, And come with me, I’ll show you a paradise, That otherwise you can never see,   Hold my hand, I’ll lead the way, I have a magic wand, And today’s a special day, The paradise is a bit far, We’ll have to walk, For about an hour, Through steep slopes and many a rock, One thing I want to tell, Being with you, Is a dream come true, And you’ll love this paradise, I can foretell, We walked for what seemed,  Like an eternity, And then we reached, The place called paradise,finally, It was a secluded place, Amidst the beautiful hills, She loved it from the look on her face, And I could perceive all the future thrills, We have been dating, For the past eight years, Marry me, I said,as I took out a ring, And Yes, she whispered, amidst joyful tears, I held her close and said, I will be with you, Night and day, Through thick and thin, For you, I’ll do anythin’,  I  truly love you, And I’ll always do, For y...

A walk in the rain!! I look out through the window, I see dark clouds hovering, Soon it will start raining, Imagining it, my face begins to glow, I had always wished to spend an evening, Walking in the rain, To feel the drops of water washing, All the worries, all the pain, I call my girlfriend over, She resents, says she’ll catch a cold, But then she agrees, and we soon set out, On our walk, wishing it would go on forever. The weather seems perfect, The atmosphere so romantic, We walk with hands entwined, The moment makes us feel truly ecstatic, We see people running around, On hearing the thunderous sound, But nothing seems to bother us, Our mind lies far away from the fuss, We kept talking and laughing the whole time, We felt so relaxed, so much at ease, I had never felt so much at peace, Throughout my lifetime, We have a cup of tea at a roadside stall, Alongside we see a mini-waterfall, We eventually sense it must be getting late, And we turn back, all wet, It was undoubtedly, one ...

Journey!!
