I lied to you!! This poem is an insight into the mind of a person who, in a moment of anger, lost the person he loved the most… and now he’s repenting it…..alas, like most realizations, it’s too late!! How dare you?? How dare you betray me, When I called you my best friend, How dare you make me, Cry for days without an end,   How dare you apologize, That too using clichés trite, This won’t curb the spite, That has been incubating in my eyes, I thought you were different, But even you were self-centered, You know only to hurt, May you till eternity be cursed, I expected you to be there, When I needed you, Yet how dare you, Leave me alone, and vanish in thin air, Our friendship’s over today, As I just can’t forget the abase, I might forgive you someday, But I’ll always hate you for setting me ablaze………

How could you?? How could you hurt her, She’s my best friend, When you had promised you’d be with her, Forever, till the end, How could you bring, Buckets of tears in her eyes, And for months she kept waiting, Every moment, every day, amidst anguish and cries, How could you not care, When once you claimed you loved her, Do you know, you transformed her, Into a zombie, aimlessly wandering here and there, How easy it was for you to say,  It won’t work, It’s all over, When you had promised to be with her, In good and bad times, come what may, You hurt my best friend, You shattered her dreams, She blindly did everything you said, But you never understood her, it seems, How could you be so filthy, And so callous and mean, And if still you think you’re clean, Then, that’s the joke of the century, She's my best friend ,                ...

We seek peace!! I am feeling extremely traumatized, To see the extent of massacre that is happening. These terrorists have an unassailable amount of fanaticism, Instead why can’t they have even the slightest feeling, Of humanity and patriotism. Seeing the grave calamity on television, I am left wondering how bad would be the real situation. I see the terrified look on the faces, Of people belonging to different religions and races. Innocent civilians have been left stranded, But that’s slightly better than being dead. At least, for them, there’s slight hope for survival. But, in this world of fear and panic, Is there any hope for revival. I look into the eyes of the families of the deceased, All I can see is hatred and utmost grief and despair. It’s such a pity that, For all that has happened, There’s no cure, no repair. From this worst extent of manslaughter.
