The friend you forgot!!
 
 
I am the one who tries to keep you happy always,
I am the one who tries to understand you always,
i am the friend who caters to all your whims and demands,
And yet i am the friend you forgot,
 
I care for you more than I'll ever show,
I care for you more than you will ever know,
You won't ever realize my worth,
Coz you just take me for granted,
 
Remember the times you had fights,
And you needed company on lonely nights,
I have been there for you at all times,
Yet you perpetually fail to remember that,
 
Remember the times I did travel,
A lot for you, just to make you feel special,
Why can't you see that i can do anything,
Just to bring a smile on your face,
 
If I can do so much for you,
Is it wrong to expect from you,
To support me for once,
To comfort me, when I am in pain,
 
Is it wrong to expect you to pamper me,
When all I want is to be,
Loved and made to feel wanted,
Is it wrong to expect, I wonder,
 
Even when we meet, your mind's somewhere else,
Thinking about something else,
As i wait for my presence to be acknowledged,
As I wait for the time spent with me to be valued,
 
Somewhere I wish you would realize,
That if I were to die, I hope,
You will undertand how much i have done for you,
And then you'll regret for not having given me my due...................
